Early Fall Bedroom – Harvest Colors & Cable Knits

|

Welcome to my early fall bedroom!  If you missed the other fall areas of my home last week, you can catch that here in my Fall Simplicity Tour.  This week I’ll be sharing some simple fall updates in the bedroom where I’ve incorporated small doses of harvest colors and cable knits.  I hope you enjoy the tour!

I can’t get enough of this harvest color pillow in front.  It has a hint of blue (which picks up on the other blues in the space), and a touch of eggplant both of which make it feel like fall in this space.  I also love the way the cable knit vertical stripes pick up on the oversized (22×22) cable knit pillows behind my favorite, beloved XL lumbar pillow.

It’s still so warm in Houston so for my fall bedding I simply switched back to my absolute favorite white pic-stitch quilt and shams that feels so cozy for this season we are entering.  And for an end of bed throw, this light weight wool throw that doesn’t really add too much weight or warmth was perfect.  I already had this piece (similar here) so I spent very little to update my bedding this fall.

As I spoke about in my Fall Simplicity Tour, this (early) fall I’ve decided to use greenery from outside instead of expensive florals or fresh flowers.  This particular greenery gets these beautiful white blooms later in the fall but we’re not quite there yet but it won’t be long.  Also, really love this small, square shaped vase.  Love the uniqueness of it and how it adds just the right amount of greenery to my bedside table.

Additionally, I love how the harvest and eggplant colors in the pillows pick up on the same colors in the artwork above the bed (here & here).

I have also adored this natural jute pouf for the end of the bed for a fall accessory since it brings in so much texture and interest.  As you know I typically have a navy pouf here since I did the One Room Challenge last spring but these two get interchanged between the bedroom and the living room and I’m loving it in here for fall!  It helps to ground the soft colors of the rug a little and make it feel not so springish.

    1. Hi Linda, I love the nightstands! We’ve had them about 6 months now and I love how much space they have and the quality is great! Let me know if you have anymore questions and thanks for stopping by!!
