Now that we’re back in our home state I can’t wait to resume the tradition of going out locally to get a real tree! We always wait until the 1st weekend in Dec, around my birthday weekend but it’s been such a special traditional in our home since we first got married🎄❤️. Beautiful new hardwoods at our #colonycottage. One of the most beautiful floors I think I’ve ever laid eyes on. They are by Sawgrass Hills / Color is Monterey. A gorgeous European white oak hardwood in a 7.5” wide plank with subtle knotting and almost a white wash in the grain. Living in this house was a new adventure every day! A piece of our family will always live within these walls I think ~ so much blood, sweat & tears went into making it our home for the time we were there and so much love came out of it❤️.
