Happy New Year and our best Reel from 2022🎉🥂! It was a big year and so much to be thankful for in our household! We moved from Texas back to the coast where I grew up in Alabama, bought and renovated two investment properties and have our 3rd reno underway of the #ColonyCottage that we’ll be moving into this spring🥳!! As always thank you for being here and for following along AND, thank you for being patient as we go through yet another transition! Praying it won’t be long now that we’ll be sharing the cottage with you full time - and I’ll start sharing more of the process with you soon since we are finally getting to some of the pretty details and finishes that make a house a home, I promise!

Now that we’re back in our home state I can’t wait to resume the tradition of going out locally to get a real tree! We always wait until the 1st weekend in Dec, around my birthday weekend but it’s been such a special traditional in our home since we first got married🎄❤️. Beautiful new hardwoods at our #colonycottage. One of the most beautiful floors I think I’ve ever laid eyes on. They are by Sawgrass Hills / Color is Monterey. A gorgeous European white oak hardwood in a 7.5” wide plank with subtle knotting and almost a white wash in the grain.
